People ask if I hate you
but it’s not in my nature to hate
you wrapped yourself up
in your own insecurities
and when someone like me comes around
and starts to untie your soul
is when you lash out
it’s when you believe
that I am going to hurt you
but I never did
you caused this all
yet you blame me
and still I don’t hate you
so stop thinking that I do
